Welcome to the Kunini Registry.
Thank you for your interest in recording your Kunini pig. The Kunini Registry (KR) is a closed registry, and as such we only accept pigs whose parents are already registered with this registry and meet the registry standards.
Applications must be requested by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
**BEFORE you submit information payment by Vemno; refunds will not be processed for improperly submitted information, so please check with us first if you have any questions.
Please send all required documents to email@example.com. Supporting documents may be scanned if legible. Please remember to always keep a copy for your records.
To transfer ownership of a pet or breeding stock please fill out the APPLICATION FOR TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP. This document will be emailed to you to fill out and return. Please note, the original owner (seller) MUST sign the form and indicate if they wish to sell the pig with breeding rights (this service only applies to pig that already has breeding rights). Applications submitted without signature of seller will not be processed. Original owner will be contacted to confirm transfer. There is a $20 processing fee for this service on pet pigs and a $30 processing fee on breeding stock.
RE-ISSUE DIGITAL CERTIFICATES
If at any time your certificate or pedigree becomes lost we can re-issue a certificate to you. Re-issued certificates will only be emailed to person currently listed as the owner with the email address on file. Please contact us if you have a change in address. There is a $10 replacement fee.
For any applications, additional documents may be requested including DNA samples to confirm parentage.
Effective January 1, 2019 no certificates will be issued until the registry receives proof that your piglet has been spayed/nuetered. Registration of breeders are not released until proof is provided that breeding rights have been paid in full.
Did you purchase a piglet as a pet?
Your breeder is responsible for proving this information. It should read in KR# format. It may begin with several numbers; end in letters. Once you have found this you are able to begin the process of obtaining your piglets pedigree/birth certificate. There is a fee of $0 for this service. The name must be a minimum of three words. Example: Petunia Piggy Smalls. Once your piglet is registered as a pet it doesn't expire. No profanity will be accepted as part of the piglets name on applications. To begin registration send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will email you a questionnaire.
Breeders are required to be Registry members. Members receive free litter registration.
Members receive a discount and only pay $45 to register stock. This must be done by the age of 1 year. If sold as an adult this must be done within 90 days of ownership.
BREEDER MEMBERSHIP/LITTER REGISTRATION
For individuals or farms who are interested in breeding (you must be a member to submit applications for litter registration).
Please request our APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP. Membership includes a full listing on the Breeder Directory page. A breeder prefix should be included in your application. This prefix will appear before all piglets registered from your farm. Example: Rolling Hills Tater .
*Member registration fee is $200 per year. It must be paid in full before you are able to register your breeding stock. Paying the fee does not waive your fee of $45 per breeding stock pig. You must show proof from breeder that you in fact have breeding rights to the pig in question. You may submit this by email to the registry. Litter registration is free to all members. Once you are a paid member you will be assigned a Breeder #. This number must be included in all requests for litter registrations.
**If for any reason your membership is revoked, be it because of unethical practices or dishonoring this registry, the piglets of litters that were previously preregistered before your rights as a member were discontinued will remain registered under their new owner/s. If you kept a piglet from any litter the registration for that piglet/s is/are void.
**If your membership has expired your pigs will remain registered. You will not be permitted to preregister litters until you renew.
**BEFORE you submit documents and payment via Venmo; refunds will not be processed for improperly submitted documents, so please check with us first if you have any questions.
Membership renewal fee of $200 due by midnight on January 1st each year.
A late fee of $1 per day will be added if not submitted upon renewal.
